SAVR is a Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) exposure tracker for iOS and Android, made by The Byte Lab. This page explains what data the app does — and does not — collect.
SAVR does not require sign-up or an account, and it never connects to your bank or to any BNPL provider on your behalf. There is no login of any kind.
Every plan you log — the provider, amount, due dates, and payment status — is stored locally on your device only. This data is never uploaded to a server and never leaves your device, except as part of a backup file you deliberately create and share yourself (see below).
SAVR lets you export your data to a local file and share or save it wherever you choose, for example to move to a new device. This file is only ever created when you choose to export it — SAVR itself does not upload it anywhere. Where it ends up after that is entirely up to you and whichever app or service you choose to share it with.
SAVR fetches a small, non-personalized list of BNPL providers relevant to your region from our server, so the app's provider list can be kept current without requiring an app update. This request does not include your plan data, your identity, or any other personal information — it's the same request every SAVR user makes.
SAVR can send you optional reminder notifications, such as a weekly summary, at times you choose. These are scheduled entirely on your device and do not rely on any external push notification server.
SAVR offers an optional paid subscription, Savr+, for additional features. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). SAVR uses RevenueCat to verify your subscription status — RevenueCat receives a randomly generated identifier for your install and your purchase/subscription status, but never your plan data. See RevenueCat's own privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy for details on how they handle this. We never see your payment details; those are handled entirely by Apple or Google.
SAVR uses Google Fonts to render its interface. The first time a font is needed, your device may fetch the font file directly from Google's font delivery network. These are standard requests for font assets and do not include any personal information from within the app.
SAVR does not use any analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting services.
SAVR does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal data at all.
